Recruitment of publicly recruited committee members
In Kyoto City, based on the Kyoto City Ordinance on the Preservation and Succession of Kyoto Machiya (traditional Kyoto townhouses), the Kyoto City Council for the Preservation and Succession of Kyoto Machiya has been established to investigate and deliberate on important matters concerning the preservation and succession of Kyoto Machiya, which are symbols of Kyoto's history, culture, and townscape, in response to consultations from the mayor, and to provide opinions to the mayor.
