We will provide financial assistance to support owners of traditional Kyoto townhouses, which should be prioritized for preservation, to alleviate the financial burden on them regarding daily maintenance and management.

Based on the Kyoto Machiya OrdinanceIndividually designated Kyoto townhouses (hereinafter referred to as "important Kyoto townhouses")Among these, those designated under the Landscape Act, etc., are given high priority for preservation and transmission. However, this is limited to those that will be preserved for 10 years after the use of the support funds.

- Certificate of registered matters for land and buildings (document proving ownership)
- Property tax and city planning tax notice and tax statement (documents proving the amount of tax paid)
* A condition for receiving the grant is that you maintain and manage the Kyoto townhouse for 10 years.
If you violate the conditions, we may request the return of your donation.
