MATCH YA, a portal site for information on utilizing Kyoto townhouses

The Kyoto Machiya Preservation Network (Secretariat: Kyoto City Landscape and Urban Development Center) is working to discover new users of Kyoto machiya (traditional Kyoto townhouses) and attract businesses and entrepreneurs to establish bases in Kyoto. To achieve this, they have compiled and published real estate information, utilization examples, and utilization ideas specifically for historical buildings such as Kyoto machiya, old private houses, and modern Japanese-style houses, all possessing cultural value, on their portal site, "MATCH YA." IT companies, creative companies, entrepreneurs, and others from the Tokyo metropolitan area seeking a base in Kyoto are encouraged to visit.
