Recruitment of publicly recruited members for the Kyoto City Machiya Preservation and Inheritance Council
In Kyoto City, based on the Kyoto City Ordinance on the Preservation and Succession of Kyoto Machiya (traditional Kyoto townhouses), the Kyoto City Council for the Preservation and Succession of Kyoto Machiya has been established to investigate and deliberate on important matters concerning the preservation and succession of Kyoto Machiya, which are symbols of Kyoto's history, culture, and townscape, in response to consultations from the mayor, and to offer opinions to the mayor.
We are currently seeking publicly recruited committee members who can offer their opinions and suggestions regarding the preservation and inheritance of traditional Kyoto townhouses. We encourage you to apply.
