System structure

This system allows people who wish to utilize Kyoto townhouses to register in advance. If a Kyoto townhouse owner has consulted Kyoto City about demolition, and a person who is specifically interested in purchasing or renting the townhouse appears, the system introduces them to a registered user in the user bank, ensuring that Kyoto townhouses are passed on to future generations.

System Flow

1(1) aboveTherefore, we will apply to register with the city.
2. The city will send you a notification at a later date regarding whether your registration has been approved or rejected.
3. After registration, if the city obtains cooperation from an owner of a Kyoto townhouse that matches the applicant's preferences, the city will provide the registrant with information about the townhouse.

Change, update, or cancel registration

1. Change

If you wish to change your registration information (applicant information, desired Kyoto townhouse, etc.), please submit an application using the "[Information Change/Registration Continuation] Kyoto Townhouse User Bank Input Form" or send an email application using the "Registration Application and Consent Form."

2 Update

 The registration is valid for two years.This applies to those who wish to continue their registration. Please apply using the "[Information Change/Registration Renewal] Kyoto Machiya User Bank Input Form" or by email using the "Registration Application and Consent Form".

3. Discard

If you wish to have your registration removed, for example, by finding a Kyoto townhouse to use, please apply using the "[Removal Application] Kyoto Townhouse User Bank Input Form" or by emailing the "Removal Application Form".
In addition, the city may cancel your registration if any of the following conditions apply.
- When there is false information in the application form
- When the registration's validity period has expired.
- When it is determined that the activities of the registered person are hindering the preservation and inheritance of Kyoto townhouses.
- When Kyoto City deems it inappropriate for any other reason.

Report to the city

Please report any of the following to the city immediately (the method of reporting is not specified):
- Buying or selling or leasing a Kyoto townhouse with an owner whose information was provided by the city.EstablishedWhen

Precautions

(1)You cannot register a property for the purpose of demolishing a Kyoto townhouse or reselling it for speculative purposes.
(2)Any disputes or problems arising from the use of the user bank with owners or other parties should be resolved between the parties involved.
(3) As a result of registering under this systemNegotiations and contracts between owners and registrantsThis shall be done at the responsibility of the parties involved.Kyoto City is not directly involved.
(4) Information obtained from the user bank:Please use this bank in accordance with its purpose and do not use it for any other purpose.
(5) This system provides information to registered users if they receive cooperation from owners of Kyoto townhouses that meet their needs after registration. If cooperation cannot be obtained from owners,Please be aware that there may be cases where the city cannot provide information on any Kyoto townhouses.
